4/03/23 – Saturday Horse Racing Tips for Murray Bridge

We have expert betting tips for the card this Saturday at Murray Bridge that features nine quality betting races.

Each-way odds are the flavour of the day in South Australia, and we have our best horse racing bets at the ready.

Murray Bridge horse racing tips

Race 1. (12:47) Carlton Draught Maiden (1000m)

#13 – Sixteen Reasons @ $3.30

Sixteen Reasons has shown good ability to date, including finishing second on debut at Gawler.

A repeat of that run would be good enough to beat this field, and punters get fair odds from bookmakers in the opener.

She just needs luck from the wide draw.

Race 2. (13:22) Northpoint Murraylands BM86 (1400m)

#2 – Struck By @ $4.20

Struck By looked good when winning fresh up at Morphettville and we like that form going forward.

His efforts since have been solid enough to consider, especially coming off a fifth at Flemington behind D’jumbuck.

Punters get each-way odds and they’re worth taking.

Race 3. (13:57) Marshall & Brougham BM78 (2500m)

#2 – Taramansour @ $5

Taramansour comes off a much-improved second placing at Morphettville and that’s a solid effort going forward.

The six-year-old son of Dansili has yet to race at Murray Bridge but his best form comes on good surfaces and he gets conditions to suit.

Punters should take the each-way odds available.

Race 4. (14:32) Magic Millions SA 2YO Classic (1200m)

#1 – Tacito @ $1.90

Tacito comes off two third placings in Melbourne and that form bodes well in Adelaide.

The two-year-old colt by Showtime ran third on debut at Sandown before placing at Flemington behind Maharba, which is excellent form.

We’re not surprised by the short odds.

Race 5. (15:12) M. Millions 3&4YO Classic (1200m)

#1 – Elite Icon @ $2.70

Elite Icon has speed to burn and we’re happy to see him getting back to winning form at Ballarat.

The four-year-old son of Nicconi won by 1.8 lengths against a tidy field and he could jump close to the speed and kick strongly.

After opening at $3, most of the money has come for him.

Race 6. (15:52) Total Workforce Solutions BM62 (1400m)

#8 – Warchime @ $5.50

Warchime looks to cap off three consecutive placings with a win and punters get each-way odds.

The three-year-old gelding ran second at Ballarat last start, so again we’re seeing Victorian form come to the fore.

Barrier two is ideal and he should be tough to beat.

Race 7. (16:32) Adelaide Event Catering BM70 (1000m)

#13 – Wakanjeja @ $3

Wakanjeja comes off a win at Morphettville by 2.5 lengths and she could hit the ground running this preparation.

The three-year-old filly by Impending comes off a trial win at Morphettville, so she’s ready to go, and that’s reflected in betting markets.

Barrier 13 hurts but carrying 54kg is ideal.

Race 8. (17:12) Beyond Ink BM68 (1800m)

#7 – Glitter ‘N’ Gold @ $6.50

Glitter ‘N’ Gold comes off consecutive wins at Warrnambool and Terang, so she’s in excellent form.

The four-year-old mare by Choisir has yet to race at Murray Bridge but she’s the form runner of the field.

She only needs luck from the wide barrier to go close.

Race 9. (17:50) Spry Concrete Pumps BM62 (1600m)

#2 – Eaglelou @ $6.50

Eaglelou won well at Gawler four back and he could get back to that form on Saturday.

The four-year-old son of Free Eagle comes off a second placing at Morphettville and a repeat of that could be good enough.

Barrier six is ideal and the odds are ideal.
