New £30m medical practice is opening in Oxford

Welbeck Health Partners will open its newest centre, Welbeck Oxford, to offer residents of Oxfordshire and visitors to the city access to private healthcare.

The new centre, at Jordan Hill Business Park off Banbury Road, will offer a complete range of medical services and cater for 12 different specialities including heart health, lung health, digestive health, ear, nose and throat (ENT), endoscopy and neurology.

The group is investing more than £30m into the Oxford site to fund the development and cutting-edge technology to put it at the forefront of private healthcare in the county.

Welbeck Health Partners is a partnership of leading healthcare specialists and clinicians that was founded to transform patient care through the use of new technologies that detect disease earlier and enable minimally invasive interventions.

It is committed to investing in the highest quality staff and industry leading infrastructure to deliver the best patient experiences and outcomes.

The group is particularly focused on preventative healthcare and is constantly innovating to enable patients to receive treatment and return home to recover on the same day.

Welbeck Health Partners currently has a flagship location in London and plans to open regional centres across the UK.

OneWelbeck, which opened in London in 2019, currently works with more than 350 industry-leading clinicians and sees more than 100,000 patients a year.

Welbeck Oxford, which is due to open next year, will be the first centre to open outside London.

“The success of OneWelbeck proved that there is a growing demand for private healthcare that has a patient-centred approach,” said Mr Chadwick-Jones.
