PREVIEW | Port Vale away

Oxford United travel to Vale Park to take on Port Vale in Sky Bet League One action on Saturday afternoon (3pm).

The U’s need a strong reaction following a disappointing defeat at Bolton in midweek.

We wish the travelling Oxford United supporters a safe journey this afternoon. Come on you Yellows!

Jay Matete is unavailable following a knock he sustained on Monday, but otherwise the U’s have full availability going into the game.

See a full interview with Des Buckingham, plus the thoughts of Cameron Brannagan in iFollow.

The last time the two sides met, Port Vale came out as 2-1 winners over nine-men Oxford, with both Greg Leigh and Mark Harris given their marching orders.

Port Vale currently sit second-bottom in the Sky Bet League One table, having failed to win in thirteen outings, their last coming in December.

Tickets for this fixture are now OFF SALE.

Tickets will be available to purchase on the day by scanning a QR code outside the Bycars Away Stand. There is no cash or chip and pin payment facilities available for away supporters.

Port Vale Football Club operate a cashless stadium, with the exception of 50/50 & programme sellers.
